In case you were wondering, my name (pronounced 'press-lay-suh') is a combination of my parent's names. I am originally from New Jersey.

I am a voracious reader. As I child, I acted out the scenes from Nancy Drew, Little House on the Prairie, The Babysitter's Club, and other.

I caught the acting bug.

At nine, I decided to go to Manhattan to audition for commercials, plays, TV shows, and movies. Fortunately, my parent's decided to accompany me on these trips ;-)  After five long years of constant auditioning, I landed the role of Cindi Ornette on the Nickelodeon TV series, "The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo." That was very exciting. The best part of my job was riding on the roller coasters next door at Universal Studios, Florida during lunch!

I later graduated from Columbia University in New York City with a degree in Spanish and then earned a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of South Carolina. I became a full grown, grown up! With degrees in hand, I made the crossover into the 'real world' when I secured a job as a Defense analyst for the federal government.

However, I often found myself scribbling down stories at work (during my lunch hour..of course :-) After carefully praying about my next move, I surrendered to the writing bug. I now write full time. It's been an adventure. Everyday is new beginning.

I live in Virginia with my wonderful husband, cute son, and my cat.
